Supervision That Supports Your Whole Self
Supervision That Supports Your Whole Self
I offer spiritually grounded, relationally rich LPC supervision in Northern VA that honors work-life balance and goes beyond board requirements to prepare you to counsel with excellence and live what you teach.
As part of my program, interns and residents will have access to a stream of incoming clients, beautifully furnished office space, and collaboration with me and other clinicians in the office.
As an LPC, EMDR-certified, and Gottman-trained therapist, my supervision is shaped by over 23 years of walking alongside individuals, couples, and families in the depths of pain, trauma, and relationship wounds. I have mentored residents in both clinical and ministry settings, and am passionate about helping new counselors grow into their gifts, while staying rooted in the One who does the true healing.
If you’re looking for supervision that supports your whole self, both as a clinician and as a believer, I’d love to walk alongside you in this season.

Supervision Beyond Just Oversight
Find support, structure, and space to become the counselor God is calling you to be. Here’s what you will receive that is not usually part of supervision.
-
Scheduling clients can feel like Tetris and is one of the most consuming parts of a clinicians work week but it’s never taught or discussed.
-
Should you try to gain confidence so you can feel qualified to help others in pain? Or is there another way or One to be confident in and if so what does that look like in practice?
-
Most clinicians in training are predominantly concerned with what counseling theory and technique to use with which client and when. While it’s valuable to be familiar with all the theories and techniques, there is more to helping people in pain than just knowing what to use when. It’s all about what the focus is.
-
I’ll provide you with the specific help to prepare you for your specific path that you’re planning on taking after becoming licensed.
-
I care for you as a person and not just for your clients and for your work.
-
You will receive opportunities for growth during our work together and be exposed to a range of client experiences to better prepare you as a clinician.
-
Each of our offices are furnished and welcoming for you and for your clients.
A NOTE FROM PERI
Why Supervision Matters
I often say “My degree gave me a license, but my learning never stopped there.” I continue to grow through my own trials, continued certifications, and time at the feet of the One True Healer. That pursuit of growth is what shapes my supervision style.
I won’t hand you a magic formula or pretend to have all the answers. But I will offer my presence, my expertise, and a deeply compassionate space where you can wrestle, wonder, and grow. Because you can’t lead others where you haven’t gone. And your formation matters just as much as your framework.
