ABOUT SUPERVISION WITH PERI ROGERS

Supervision That Supports Your Whole Self

Supervision That Supports Your Whole Self

I offer spiritually grounded, relationally rich LPC supervision in Northern VA that honors work-life balance and goes beyond board requirements to prepare you to counsel with excellence and live what you teach.

As part of my program, interns and residents will have access to a stream of incoming clients, beautifully furnished office space, and collaboration with me and other clinicians in the office.

As an LPC, EMDR-certified, and Gottman-trained therapist, my supervision is shaped by over 23 years of walking alongside individuals, couples, and families in the depths of pain, trauma, and relationship wounds. I have mentored residents in both clinical and ministry settings, and am passionate about helping new counselors grow into their gifts, while staying rooted in the One who does the true healing.

If you’re looking for supervision that supports your whole self, both as a clinician and as a believer, I’d love to walk alongside you in this season.

A NOTE FROM PERI

Why Supervision Matters

I often say “My degree gave me a license, but my learning never stopped there.” I continue to grow through my own trials, continued certifications, and time at the feet of the One True Healer. That pursuit of growth is what shapes my supervision style.

I won’t hand you a magic formula or pretend to have all the answers. But I will offer my presence, my expertise, and a deeply compassionate space where you can wrestle, wonder, and grow. Because you can’t lead others where you haven’t gone. And your formation matters just as much as your framework.

What Clinicians Are Saying

  • Translating Field Experience to Life-Changing Wisdom

“Peri, has a rare gift of translating field experience to life-changing wisdom. She never failed to share her wisdom with warmth and care through a compassionate heart to serve others.

She is continually reflective in her approach to supervision, relationally supportive, and empowering. She often challenged me to embrace new perspectives, think outside of the box, and explore possible blind spots as they hinder me from appropriate case conceptualization. Beyond her supervision skills, it is the culture of humility, courageous vulnerability, and progress over perfection that I have come to appreciate most about my time with her.

She encouraged me to grow both professionally and personally! I am forever grateful for her supervision and support.”

  • A Culturally Sensitive & Supportive Supervisor

“Peri is a culturally sensitive, supportive supervisor who responds to what I need in supervision. She allows me to develop my unique style during residency so that I am not locked into the philosophy of a group practice. Her spirituality and faith-based background is a plus to those seeking such support. At the same time, she is well-grounded in counseling theories and techniques for those who don’t require such support. She is accessible and approachable and responds to concerns in a timely manner. She works tirelessly to ensure everything runs smoothly. She helps me to develop into a competent, well-rounded therapist.”
